Daydreaming
Every November, I kid you not, I'm looking into how I can adjust my life to spend more time in the mountains. To ski more, photograph more, spend time outdoors more, live more.
Last winter was definitely one of my better ones with almost a month in Austria all together. It was amazing to establish some kind of everyday life in that environment even though I wasn't able to ski every day.
One highlight was definitely the world cup in Saalbach when I got to shoot some behind the scenes of what's going on in the organisation. There's counteless of people involved, and I was impressed by every single one of them.
Every year, I'm fortunate enough to join my favourite team to the mountains, Afterski Team Sweden! It's a trip like nothing else, together with people with the biggest hearts and craziest minds. I'm already stoked about the next one coming up 2026, at a new destination: Mayrhofen!
So to wrap things up, Zell am See and Saalbach are the destinations closest to my heart. I spent a season there ages ago and I have visited a number of times ever since. I really love the villages and the skiing variety, which would make them pretty natural to spend another winter in. But there's heaps of amazing places, like the Dolomites and the French alps, so let's see what happens, until then I'll keep exploring and craving the long wide slopes.
